All things come to an end!

The present committee bids you farewell and wishes you well in the forthcoming years. 

We wish to sincerely thank all our volunteers for extending generously, their time, energy, attention, support and assistance towards the many objectives and outcomes we have achieved. 

Of the Outcomes, the following will stand testimony for years and years to come:

  1. The Sewage Treatment Plant
  2. Regularisation of the Layout – The Anugraha Satellite Township layout sketch copy is here. 
  3. Approval for dedicated fourth wire for uninterrupted 3 phase electricity supply. 
  4. Extensive documentation of all the sale deeds, gift deeds, encumbrance certificates, pattas, accounts, common property, etc. 
  5. Regularisation of individual plots of a majority of owners. 

This site will be maintained at the cost of the Secretary, Dr. Jagan Mohan R to serve as an archive and documents repository for as long as possible.

Association Elections 2020 – Announcement Notice

Dear Esteemed Homeowners and Residents, IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Association will be conducting the elections to the governing and executive body of the Anugraha Satellite Township Residents Welfare Association on 5 July 2020.
Only full members of good standing without any dues whatsoever will be eligible to stand for election as well as participate in the elections.
An election committee has been appointed to conduct the elections under the leadership of the Association’s Legal Advisor.

Members with dues who wish to participate in the elections are requested to pay their dues.
A filled nomination form with an identity card, proof of ownership (first-degree relationships), and no-dues certificate from treasurer will be required. Shortly the letters, forms, rules, etc will be distributed.

Meeting with District Collector

Office Bearers of the Anugraha Satellite Township met with the District Collector, Thiru Anbuselvan V, IAS.

A Petition requesting for reliefs for the following was handed over:

  1. Assessment, Levy and Collection of House Tax for all houses in the Township
  2. Sewage Treatment Plant’s Electricity Bill Security Deposit demand by the Electricity Board (TANGEDCO) to be waived off
  3. Township’s Roads to be repaired urgently.

The Collector heard us patiently and promised to talk to the Assistant Director of Panchayat for follow up on our requests.

Maintenance Charges Dues Recovery Initiated

About 99 occupied houses have defaulted in their mandatory maintenance charges payments for over 12 months. These defaulters have been classified as wilful defaulters and recover proceedings have been initiated.

As a first step, individual default notices have been sent to the houseowners through registered post with acknowledgement due. Time till 25 October 2019 has been given for paying all the outstanding arrears in full.

Petition to BDO & AD Panchayat

A delegation from the Anugraha Satellite Township Residents Welfare Association met the Block Development Officer in charge of Mathalapattu Village Panchayat and submitted a Petition requesting for houses of the township to be assessed for tax since the Layout has been approved by DTCP Villupuram under the Regularisation framework announced by the TN Govt.

The delegation also visited the District Collectorate three times before they were able to meet the Assistant Director of Panchayat. The meeting was fruitful. Various issues were discussed including the menace of dogs in the township. A petition reiterating the need for levy and collection of house taxes was handed over to him.

STP Project Corpus Fund – Auditor Report Received

We are pleased to receive and share the Auditor’s Report on the receipts and payments account of our Sewage Treatment Plant Project Corpus Fund.
